Explaining the process of renting a hanbok
We will explain the rental process so that even customers renting hanbok for the first time in Korea can use it with peace of mind, from making a reservation online, visiting the store, choosing a hanbok, timing of payment, and payment methods. We have also compiled a list of frequently asked questions, such as the time required from arrival to departure, return time, and points to note, so please check them out as well.

Reservation
Online reservations are available 24 hours a day, right up until the day before your visit. Please use the reservation form to reserve the date you wish to rent a hanbok. March is a busy month, so we may not be able to accept reservations on the day. The average time required from check-in to hanbok rental to departure is 20 to 40 minutes. This may vary depending on the number of people on the day.

Visit Walnut Hanbok
Please come to the store on the date and time you have reserved. There is no need to contact us to specify a time. Please refer to here for directions to the store. We provide all the accessories necessary for hanbok rental, so you can come to the store empty-handed.

Reception and locker storage
We will confirm the name of the person making the reservation at the time of reception. Our smiling manager is looking forward to welcoming everyone from Japan! If you wish to change the number of people, please let us know on the day.
After checking in, please choose a locker and leave your luggage there. Please cooperate by sharing one locker for two people.
Lockers are available free of charge at our store.

Choosing a Hanbok (from Chima)
Please choose from chima (skirt).
Plan prices vary depending on the design .
Our staff will suggest several designs for your chogori that will go well with your chima.

Dressing and hair styling
Our experienced and professional dressing staff will provide dressing and hair styling services that will bring out the beautiful lines of your hanbok.
Choose from a half-updo or a bun, and we'll create a style that suits your hair type with braids or braids.
After your hair is set, please choose your favorite bag.
At our store, hair styling, hair accessories, and bags are provided free of charge.

Checkout and Departure
Please pay at the counter.
Rental time is counted from the departure time.
*Reservations will be extended by 2 hours.
Walnut Hanbok Rental Shop (Gyeongbokgung Palace Branch) is conveniently located for sightseeing, so after renting your hanbok, you can immediately enjoy strolling around Gyeongbokgung Palace in your hanbok. There are tourist attractions and restaurants in the surrounding area, so please enjoy strolling around in your hanbok until it's time to return it.
